Problem & Solution

The need for the PTO Form Update Course stemmed from a clear objective of improving the communication and understanding of updates related to the company's PTO (Paid Time Off) form. The previous system may have lacked effectiveness in disseminating this information to employees, leading to confusion, misinterpretation, and potential errors in PTO requests.

To address this need for improvement, the course was designed to provide employees with a concise and accessible overview of the five key updates to the PTO form. By ensuring that employees were well-informed about these changes, the course aimed to enhance clarity, accuracy, and compliance when requesting and managing PTO.

The goal was to streamline the process, minimize errors, and increase overall efficiency in handling PTO requests. By offering a user-friendly and interactive learning experience, the course aimed to empower employees with the knowledge and understanding necessary to navigate the updated PTO form effectively.

Ultimately, the course played a vital role in promoting transparency, reducing confusion, and fostering a culture of informed decision-making and compliance within the organization.

The entire project was managed and organized using the powerful project management platform, Trello. From inception to completion, Trello served as the central hub for seamless collaboration, streamlined communication, and efficient task management.

Objectives

My Process

The SAM (Successive Approximation Model) approach guided the development of the PTO Form Update Course, allowing for iterative and agile design. The initial analysis phase involved identifying the need for improved communication and understanding of updates related to the company's PTO form. Through rapid prototyping and continuous feedback loops, the course design evolved to address specific pain points and learner requirements.
